Teenagers’ cooking starts Shifnal kitchen fire

Two teenage brothers fled their home in Shifnal after a fire broke out in the kitchen.
Cooking left unattended in the kitchen is being blamed for starting the fire in Broadway Close.
Firefighters from Telford Central fire station were called to the property shortly before 4.10pm yesterday.
John Pritchard, watch manager, said the pair had done everything right before alerting the fire service after they discovered the fire.
