Tanker with hazardous material in crash near Newport
Friday 28th October 2011, 3:31PM BST.
A tanker carrying hazardous material was involved in a three-vehicle smash near Newport.
The crash happened in Pitchcroft Lane, Chetwynd Aston, at 11am today. Three fire crews were sent to the scene but no hazardous waste had leaked out.
And there were minor delays in Whitchurch Drive, Wellington, at 9.40am today when a Peugeot mounted the central reservation and demolished a lamppost.
