Break-in at Cleobury Mortimer Harry Tuffins
Wednesday 26th October 2011, 10:50AM BST.
Intruders fled with cash after causing extensive damage in a supermarket raid in Cleobury Mortimer. The burglars forced open internal doors at the Harry Tuffins store.
It happened in the early hours of yesterday.
Paul Delves, managing director of Harry Tuffins, said it was too early to say how much the thieves had got away with from the High Street supermarket, which was open as normal today.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: “We believe the actual break-in occurred at around 2.40am and that two men, possibly with hoods up, were involved.”
