Millions saw Shropshire teenager Hayley Forrester impress business guru Lord Sugar as she scooped victory in an ice cream selling task on the new series of the Young Apprentice.
The 17-year-old from near Wem led her team to victory as project manager on last night’s opening show.
Hayley, who rears chickens and sells eggs, is in the running to win £25,000 to kick-start her own business if she emerges as the winner.
Her gamble to step forward as project manager in week one paid off as her team froze out the boys with a cool £150 winning margin. She admitted to her teammates she could ‘be a little bossy’ which some people could find ‘patronising’.
