Call to solve ‘trade-killing’ Newtown traffic problem

An organisation which represents town and community councils across Wales has called on the traffic chaos in Newtown to be solved before businesses are forced to close.
One Voice Wales said it is launching a campaign to get something done about the ‘dreadful’ traffic problem in and around the town. Councillor Derrick Pugh, of OVW, is a member of Trefglwys Community Council near Newtown.
He said the current situation where traffic is left to queue for up to five miles in both directions into the town is ‘killing trade’.
And he said OVW members would be sending a DVD to Carl Sargeant, Welsh Government minister, to show him the situation has not improved .

wow its taking this long to relise the towns down on its knees.
All because yu cant see its the traffic lights is the problem now yu will waste more time planning more stupid ways to mess it up more id love your job..
