Burglars steal charity cash from Cockshutt pub

A village pub was open for business today after thieves forced their way in and stole the contents of two charity collection boxes.
They broke into The Leaking Tap in Cockshutt, near Ellesmere overnight on Wednesday.
Owner Lesley Butler said: “It’s very unfortunate coming at this time of year when we were raising money for Christmas charity appeals.”
