Crash on A41 near Market Drayton

Three people escaped serious injury following a car crash on a road in north Shropshire.
The accident on the A41 near Market Drayton left two people ‘walking wounded’ and a third needing further treatment.
It happened at the Sweet Appletree crossroads in Wistanswick just after 10.40am yesterday and left the road blocked for about an hour, police said.
A BMW 3 series and a Volkswagen were involved.
Police said three casualties were taken to the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford and the road re-opened at 11.45am.
