Crackdown on speeding in Ludlow’s Sheet Road
Tuesday 18th October 2011, 11:11AM BST.
A speeding crackdown is to be carried out by police on a busy road in Ludlow after complaints about motorists ignoring the 30mph limit and driving too fast.
Police warned today they would take enforcement action against drivers speeding on Sheet Road.
Offenders will be stopped and issued with on the spot fines, penalty points on their licence and could face prosecution.
Constable Dan Wood said road safety was a priority for West Mercia Police.
