Two held in drug raids on homes

Police raided three homes in the same Shrewsbury street in an early morning drugs bust.
Twenty officers went into properties in Middletown Square in Monkmoor to execute warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Small amounts of cannabis were recovered from two of the addresses during Thursday’s raids.
Two men were arrested at separate addresses and given cautions for possessing cannabis. A Ford Fiesta was also seized on suspicion of illegally using red diesel, which is meant to be used only for agricultural, horticultural and forestry machinery.
