Warm weekend predicted

Freak warm weather is set to deliver Britain a bonus slice of sun this weekend.
The mercury is predicted to hit unusual balmy highs of 18C (64F) after a week of windy, overcast weather.
In Shropshire, temperatures are expected to reach 16C (61F) on Saturday and 17C (63F) on Sunday, with long sunny periods. With winter just two weeks away, it seems incredible rays of sunshine are forecast yet again.
Met Office spokesman Dan Williams said: “The following weekend will be back to usual October conditions.”
