Probe into south Shropshire fire continues

Investigations are continuing into the cause of a fire which caused members of a family to flee their home near Ludlow. Dozens of firefighters spent six hours tackling the blaze.
The fire took hold of the roof space of the house in Downton Castle, near Leintwardine, yesterday morning.
A spokeswoman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said officers were today continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fire.
