400 sign Baschurch anti-supermarket petition

More than 400 people have signed a petition against plans for a supermarket in Baschurch.
Villagers are campaigning against plans for the store, believed to be a Spar, next to Newtown Garage in the centre of Baschurch. A Facebook page opposing the bid has also been launched.
Preliminary meetings between agents Lancroft Developments and the parish council have been held.
