Rail delays after man killed by train

Shropshire rail users faced delays after a man was killed by a train.

The Asian male was struck between Albrighton and Codsall just before 10pm yesterday.

It caused delays of up to an hour-and-a-half and caused one train to turn back to Shrewsbury.

Simon Lubin, for the British Transport Police, said there was nothing suspicious about the death.
