Tuesday 11th October 2011, 1:00PM BST.
An Oswestry man tormented by youngsters near his home used a crossbow in a bid to frighten them away, Shrewsbury Crown Court was told.
Vincent Wayne Humphreys, 45, of Ash Road, Oswestry, admitted a charge of affray yesterday in that he used or threatened unlawful violence on April 29.
Adjourning sentence to a date to be fixed, Judge Tonking said it appeared Humphreys ‘had been tormented for a considerable amount of time’.
Humphreys was granted conditional bail.
