A bridge in Shrewsbury was closed for more than an hour as police attempted to talk down a teenager sitting on its ledge above the River Severn.
A 19-year-old man was spotted on the Welsh Bridge at about 6.45pm on Saturday, leading police to close it to cars and pedestrians as they attempted to talk him down.
The man agreed to come away from the edge about an hour later, when he was then arrested for causing a public nuisance.
