£2.6m sought for Shrewsbury High School site

The former home of Shrewsbury High School is up for sale for £2.6 million.

Three buildings in Kennedy Road in Shrewsbury, which housed the independent girls’ school’s pre-prep and nursery pupils, has been placed on the market with Carter Jonas LLP.

The sale includes the huge buildings – the larger of the two has total floorspace of 10,500 sq ft and, if converted into a home, would hold 12 bedrooms – along with a modern annex, all of which is currently owned by the School Trust.

In total, a buyer for the site would take on three acres of land along with the buildings.
