Man due in court over Whitchurch sword attack

A 28-year-old man was due in court in Shrewsbury today to face charges of possessing a samurai sword after an attack in Whitchurch.
The man, from Shrewsbury, has been charged with possessing the sword in public and wounding with intent following the incident on Tuesday which left a 26-year-old man with head and hand injuries.
