Sainsbury’s wins permission to build Whitchurch store

Supermarket giant Sainsbury’s this afternoon won planning permission to build a store in Whitchurch creating 250 jobs.
Shropshire Council’s north Planning committee gave the plans theri seal of approval at a meeting in Wem today.
The store will be built on land off London Road, close to the town centre.
