School roof fall five out of hospital

Five men injured when the steel roof canopy of Telford’s Abraham Darby Academy’s building collapsed have all been released from hospital.
They were working on the £35 million school building in Madeley when the canopy came crashing down.
Four people were taken to hospital with serious injuries while a fifth man was treated for minor injuries.
One man in his 40s was airlifted to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital with spinal injuries while three others were taken to Telford’s Princess Royal Hospital with leg, chest and abdominal injuries. Jane Mason, spokeswoman for developers Kier Group, said all five have now been discharged from hospital.
