Family pays tribute to devoted father Dave Adams
Monday 29th August 2011, 11:30AM BST.
Tributes have been paid to a “devoted” father who “lived for his family” after his sudden death aged 52. Dave Adams, of Diddlebury, had a “kind and caring” nature, his devastated family said.
He collapsed and died in the garden of his home in Diddlebury, near Craven Arms, on August 18.
His wife of 33 years, Jan, said her husband used his passion for gardening to help elderly people who could not tend to their own gardens, and added he had cared for his ill grandmother for the past decade until she died about six months ago.
The funeral is at St Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Ludlow tomorrow at noon, followed by cremation at Hereford Crematorium at 3.45pm. Donations will be shared between Help for Heroes and Vulcan to the Sky. To donate call Victoria Allen Funeral Services on (01584) 879035. Family flowers only are requested.
