Mid Wales put on flood alert
Saturday 27th August 2011, 11:29AM BST.
Residents in Mid Wales have been warned to be on alert for possible localised flooding this weekend.
The Environment Agency Wales said it had updated advice for people to be alert for disruption from the possible surface water flooding across the region.
The Met Office also said heavy rainfall across the county and other parts of Wales could cause disruption. But experts said river levels were low and they were not expecting them to reach a level which could lead to flooding.
