Shrewsbury muggers steal teenager’s mobile phone

Monday 15th August 2011, 11:29AM BST.

A teenage boy was attacked and had his mobile phone stolen during a street robbery in Shrewsbury.

The 16-year-old boy was punched to the ground by two men in Preston Street, near the Column, at about 10.45pm on Friday.

The attackers were white and aged about 19.

One was 5ft 7ins, of thin build with short dark hair, wearing a navy blue T-shirt with a logo on the front. The other wore dark Adidas tracksuit bottoms and no shirt.
