A Mid Wales woman has been named as one of two young drivers who died after a crash near the south Shropshire border.
Claire Barlow, 24, from Pound Lane, Presteigne, died on Friday.
Her Seat Ibiza car collided with a Mazda pick-up truck at Byton, near Leominster.
Driver Richard Warr, of Pencombe near Bromyard, was initially thought to have suffered lesser injuries in the crash on the B4362 Shobdon to Presteigne road.
But the 21-year-old died soon after arriving at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
Families of the two young drivers today made heartfelt tributes to their loved ones.
The Barlow family said in a statement: “Claire was a beautiful girl who was renowned for her wonderful smile, bubbly personality and love of life.”
