Telford man accused of Bridgnorth attack

A 24-year-old man accused of a late night attack on a woman in Bridgnorth has appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court.

Matthew Atkins, of Mount Pleasant Road, in Madeley, Telford, appeared in court today charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and burglary.

It follows an incident on July 30.

No pleas were taken at today’s hearing and Atkins was granted conditional bail. He will appear before the court again in October.
