Fury at EDL march ruling on fans

Strict conditions laid down by police for a march in Shropshire by the English Defence League were today criticised.
The EDL will march in Telford on August 13, the same day as AFC Telford’s first game with Luton Town.
Supporters have seen the kick-off time moved to 7.45pm while away fans must now pick up their tickets from a special rendezvous point to avoid any trouble.
Luton’s managing director Gary Sweet said he was “sick and tired” of seeing fans being “pushed around” with restrictions that could “antogonise” the situation.
