Eggs hurled at Shrewsbury restaurant

About 30 eggs were thrown at the windows of an Indian restaurant in Shrewsbury and its locks tampered with in an early morning attack, police said today.
The incident at the Indian Village in Mardol happened at about 2.10am on Friday.
Richard Ewels, spokesman for West Mercia Police, said: “About 30 eggs were thrown at the front of the restaurant. The locks to the premises were also tampered with and police are appealing for information.”
