Telford roads to shut for three weeks of repairs
Wednesday 27th July 2011, 3:14PM BST.
Two Telford roads will be shut for up to three weeks as part of a £7 million scheme to improve the borough.
Wombridge Road, in Trench, closed yesterday and will remain shut for up to three weeks. The Ley, between Doseley and Dawley, will be closed for about two weeks from August 3.
Telford & Wrekin Councillor Hilda Rhodes said: “This is one of the biggest local programmes of works to improve the road network and will result in safer roads with better street lights, kerbs, drainage and lining.”
