Two in court over alleged drive-by shooting in Telford

Two men appeared in court today in relation to an alleged drive-by shooting in Telford.

Shakeel Khan, 26, from Catterick Close, Leegomery and Abzul Khan, 24, from Handsworth, Birmingham, appeared at Telford Magistrates Court. The pair both face a charge of conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Police descended on Leicester Way in Leegomery, following reports of gunshots on March 26.

The pair will appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on August 1.
