Rescue as girl is stuck up tree

An adventurous nine- year-old school girl had to be rescued by firefighters after getting stuck up a tree.
The girl was climbing a tree at Newtown Primary School, near Wem, when she got her leg caught between two branches at about 1.15pm yesterday.
She was on her lunch break when the incident happened and firefighters from Wem were called out to release her.
They used a hand saw to cut through the branches.
Firefighters stood down at about 1.45pm.
