Diversion for Shropshire drivers

Motorists face a 16-mile diversion when a major road into Shropshire closes for bridge repairs.
A section of the A49 will be closed while work to replace Barmere Bridge, north of Whitchurch takes place from July 18 until October.
There will be a signed diversion route via the A41 and A534.
Chris Humphreys, for Whitchurch-based international storage and distribution firm Grocontinental, said the work would cause a slight inconvenience.
