Why is she worried, she’s either eligible or she isn’t, either way it’s not news it’s just another whinge from somebody having to comply with THE RULES.

I filled in a form last week and despite my efforts did not succeed and will have to undergo the same harrowing procedure this week,my wife and family are on tenterhooks.Would the Shropshire Star video team like to interview me?
The information I put down was 6,10,18,31,33 and 43.
In 1967 I successfully defended the Boys 50yd Obstacle Race and 25yd Sack Race.

Oh dear, we really are struggling for news! This woman hasn’t been ‘snubbed’ or even turned down, just asked to prove her residency as she’s been out of the country. Just because she’s a paralympian doesn’t make this interesting.

Blimey, it comes to something when the Shropshire Star has resorted to covering such a non interesting and non news worthy story like this. In a nutshell this woman has been out of the country for a number of years and has now made her way to her local Benefits Office to claim all sorts of state handouts and she has been asked to prove her identity and residency and other similar such questions. So what? Come on Shropshire Star get a grip and report something that at least appeals to all your readers.

If she’s fit enough to particpate in such vigorous sports, and devote all this time to charities etc then she is fit enough to get a real job and stop expecting us to fund her hobby.
