Man headbutted in Shrewsbury pub assault
Tuesday 14th June 2011, 6:49PM BST.
A man was headbutted and bitten on his finger during an assault in a Shrewsbury pub, police said today.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened at the Shrewsbury Hotel in Mardol at about 10pm on Saturday.
Two men were involved in an argument at the bar. During the dispute, one man was attacked.
Officers arrested a suspect on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm, who was later given conditional police bail while inquiries continue.
