Recognition for snow skiing club

A snow skiing club in Shropshire has gained national recognition after winning an award for its development and achievements.
Snowsport England, the national governing body for the sport, has honoured Telford Ski Club with an award for all its work.
More than 32 club members were on hand at the club, which is based at Telford Snowboard and Ski Centre, to receive the gong.
This is the first year Snowsport England has presented awards to its clubs and volunteers in recognition of their hard work, commitment and achievements.
Telford Ski Club is managed by the Telford Trust and has grown in numbers steadily since it started in 1968.
