A relieved Ludlow man has been reunited with his beloved cat after she was found walking the streets of Dudley – an amazing 35 miles from home.
Andy Boddington, 56, was fearing the worst after his 15-year-old ginger moggie Georgi had been missing for 41 days.
All that time, Mr Boddington was unaware that she was actually safe and well and being cared for by staff at Blacks Vets in Hall Street, Dudley.
Georgi had been handed in at the vets surgery by a member of the public on April 27, 18 days after walking out the front door of Mr Boddington’s home in Chestnut Grove.
Mr Boddington said: “We have no idea how she got there, but I don’t think it’s likely she was stolen.
“It is possible she crawled into the back of a delivery van, but we really just don’t know.”
