Man, 76, hurt in quad bike accident

A 76-year-old man suffered serious chest injuries after falling from a quad bike which then rolled over him.
The incident happened in a field off Glebelands Close, in Bitterley, near Ludlow, at about 1.30pm yesterday.
The man was taken by air ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for treatment.
An ambulance service spokeswoman said: “Crews administered pain relief to the man before they carefully immobilised him with a neck collar and spinal board.”
