Five-year-old boy dies in Mid Wales crash

A five-year-old boy died and three other people were injured in a road collision in Mid Wales.
Police said the incident, which involved a gold Citroen Saxo and a red Nissan Qashqai, happened on the A483 about one mile north of Welshpool at about 5.25pm on Saturday.
One person was airlifted to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by air ambulance, and two others were taken to the Royal Shrewsbury in a land ambulance, Dyfed-Powys Police said.
