Woman assaulted in Mid Wales public toilet

A woman was followed into a public toilet block in Mid Wales by a man who then assaulted her, police said today.

The assault happened at the toilets at The Groe car park in Builth Wells at 3pm on May 3.

Force communications officer Antony Topazio said police were hunting a man in his 50s, who fled the toilets and is thought to have then got on to a bus.

It is not known how serious the woman’s injuries were, or whether she received hospital treatment.
