Welshpool development plans to go on display

Residents in Welshpool wanting to see how their town could look like within the next 15 years are being urged to look at plans.

The final draft of Welshpool Town Council’s Local Development Plans submission to Powys County Council is now on display in the Middle Market Hall of the Market Village.

It will be there for residents to see and comment on between 9am and 4pm until Saturday.

The final plan will be put forward to the town’s full council meeting on May 11.

    let me have my say

    You only can but laugh at this headline and chuckle more at what its reporting , welshpool in next 15 years, more like, will welshpool still be a town in as many years and why ask for comments, this must be a tick box exercise as they do not listen to the peoples comments anyway.
