Man collapses and dies in Shrewsbury Street

A pensioner who died after collapsing in a Shrewsbury street has been identified by the police.
The identity of the 75-year-old man from the town has not been made public and investigations into his death are still ongoing, although the circumstances are not believed to be suspicious.
One of the people who attempted to save the life of the pensioner when he was found lying on the pavement in Ashley Street in Monkmoor was 19-year-old Matthew Stuart.
The health carer, his brother James and his girlfriend Kelly Edwards were altered to the incident by a passer-by who knocked on their door.
Matthew and James, who works in the same job as his sibling, attempted to perform CPR on the stricken man, while Ms Edwards rang 999.
