Man’s skull fractured in Telford assault

A man was today in hospital being treated for a fractured skull and broken bones after he was assaulted in Telford, police said.

The 21-year-old man was attacked at 11.30pm yesterday outside a house in Woodrows, Woodside.

Police today said the man was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford after the attack. Another man, aged 23, suffered minor injuries.

Two men – one aged 19 and the other aged 23 – have been arrested in connection with the alleged incident.
