Boy, 15, needed stitches after Telford gang attack

A 15-year-old boy needed stitches after being attacked by a gang in an underpass in Telford.

The boy was on his way home from the Spar in Leegomery with his friend between 5pm and 5.30pm when they were approached by a group of about eight male youths.

As they moved towards the underpass, a conversation took place between the groups. When the pair reached the underpass, one of the youths punched the victim to the ground.
