Attack on woman car driver at Telford traffic lights

Two masked men left a young woman injured after smashing her car windows while she was stopped at traffic lights in Telford.

The two men, wearing balaclavas and gloves, attacked as the 18-year-old waited at the lights in Leegate Avenue and Haybridge Road, Leegomery.

They tried to open the driver’s and passenger’s doors on the Ford Focus but the occupants managed to close them. The man at the driver’s side smashed the window with his fist before the woman drove off.
