Two killed in Powys crashes

Monday 4th April 2011, 10:23AM BST.

Two people have been killed in separate crashes in Powys, police said today.

The first crash saw a 29-year-old woman from Llangammarch Wells killed in an accident which happened between Penderyn and Storey Arms, south of Brecon on the A4059 at about 9.30pm on Saturday.

Then a 37-year-old motorcyclist from the Machynlleth area died when his bike was in collision with a car on the A470 near Cemmaes Road, between Commin’s Coch and Mallwyd, at 10.10pm on Saturday.
