Man in court accused of Shrewsbury murder

A 40-year-old man today appeared in court charged with the murder of a man whose body was found in a Shrewsbury flat.

Shawn Heath Adams, of The Paddocks, Bicton Heath, Shrewsbury, did not enter a plea during today’s hearing at Stafford Crown Court.

Adams is accused of the murder of Wesley Morris, 30, of Lancaster Road, Harlescott, on October 12.

Judge Simon Tonking adjourned the case for trial on June 6 at Stafford Crown Court. Adams was remanded in custody.
