Telford armed raid CCTV check

Detectives were today studying CCTV footage in the hunt for a robber who forced staff at Top Shop newsagents in Wrockwardine Wood, Telford, to hand over cash at knifepoint.

The man, who had his face covered fled with £500 at 2.45pm on Wednesday.

The robber was white, about 5ft 10/11ins, of slim build and wearing dark clothing including a hooded top with light coloured, possibly gold, writing or a symbol of some sort on it. He also had splashes of paint or plaster on his dark trousers.
