Recruitment day to fill Oswestry entertainment centre posts
Monday 28th March 2011, 1:42PM BST.
A recruitment day to fill 100 new jobs for Oswestry will take place tomorrow as a new entertainment complex prepares for its opening.
The culmination of seven months work and a £1.5 million investment will see the doors opening on the former Cambrian Works Buildings, better known locally as McLarens, over the Easter weekend.
The first phase will see the opening of one of the largest children’s play barns in Europe.
The name McLarens is being retained as the name for the new wine bar and restaurant, and further developments will continue through the year.
The businesswoman behind the venture, hotelier Stephanie Booth, said: “The complex is now looking for the all important staff for the various aspects of its operation.
“To this end a special open day has been arranged at Oswestry’s Station Building for everyone interested to bring their CV along.”
