Sex assault in Ludlow
Thursday 24th March 2011, 12:14PM GMT.
A woman has been sexually assaulted near a Ludlow play area.
Police said it happened on a football pitch near the Linney play area shortly before 1am yesterday.
A man in his 20s was arrested in connection with the incident and has since been released on police bail.
Detective Inspector Mick Homden appealed to anyone who may have seen a man and woman walking together in the direction of the Linney from the Mill Street area at the time to call police on 0300 333 3000.
