Shrewsbury awarded share of Government bike cash
Tuesday 22nd March 2011, 11:16AM GMT.
Shrewsbury is to receive a share of a fresh £836,000 Government cash injection to get more people on to their bikes.
It was one of only 12 towns to be awarded cycling town status in 2008.
Transport Minister Norman Baker said the extra funding for projects up and down the country demonstrated the Government’s commitment to cutting congestion on the roads.
