Coachloads of campaigners from across Shropshire are expected to march in London this weekend to protest against cuts in public spending and attacks on jobs, services and pensions.
As many as 1,000 protestors from closure-threatened school communities, OAPs and the jobless will be marching under the Shropshire Fights Back banner in the capital on Saturday.
Upwards of 100,000 protesters from across the country are expected to join the march and rally.
Almost 650 coaches have been hired to ferry an expected 100,000 protesters from across Britain.
Jayne McDermott, of Shropshire Fights Back who has organised the county's involvement in the protest, said: "Present indications suggest that we will be taking almost 1,000 people to the protest. The schools threatened with closure are considering joining the march."
The group has organised free coaches to take disaffected residents from across the county on the march leaving Market Drayton at 6.30am, Shrewsbury at The Abbey at 7am and Telford Coach Station at 7.30am.
Places are still available by e-mailing shropsfight back@virginmedia.com and a member of the Trades Council will contact you to confirm your place.

Wont make any difference...
Try spending the day looking for work you red layabouts!

Red Layabouts? How disingenuous of you to say that. That suggests that we're all unemployed. We're not, we're trying to keep our jobs and save YOUR services.
ANDREW FINCH
All good to march what you believe in, however this will not stop anything and by having free places a matter of days from the planned coach trip clearly many residents of the county think so too. But all the best to them anyway.

However, we should expect further worsening on joblessness in the country in the next quarter because of political anxieties in the Middle East, check out an article called "High Speed University" for relation between a degree and job and the pay rate.
