Telford man in court accused of rape

A 40-year-old Telford man today appeared in court accused of rape and sexual assault.
Scott Michael Boden, of Burford, Brookside, appeared at Telford Magistrates Court charged with two counts of rape and a third charge of sexual assault of a girl under 13.
He is accused of carrying out the offences on February 19. No plea was entered.
The case was adjourned until March 21 when Boden will appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court.
He was remanded in custody.
